About the Layout
The current cover-devil is Mr. MacPhisto, late of U2's
Zoo TV tour...which occurred many a year ago, now. Indeed, some satellites must fade...but they leave trails in the night sky. The image used can be found in
U2 Faraway So Close, by BP Fallon (who is the photographer as well, for that matter). It's not being used for monetary gain, fair use clause, blah-de-blah. Y'all know what I mean. Technical bits: made with Adobe Photoshop 7, IrfanView, and Araneae 5. Please feel free to look, experiment with, but don't copy code-for-code. There's always the
very large chance that my code is not perfect, anyway...
About the Domain
Gypsy Heart was registered with
GoDaddy on the of April, 2005, and went live on May 31st, 2005. It is happily hosted by
Dreamhost, and I can't forsee switching hosts any time between now and the second coming. Yep, they're that good. Gypsy Heart has always been what it is today -- a webmess containing all sorts of Evenstar's internets odds and ends. It probably always will be, for that matter. The name of the domain comes from a line from a song by U2, "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses":
don't you turn around again/don't turn around/your gypsy heart. The webmistress has a slight obsession with said Damn Irish Band...

must be bored. Anyway. Evenstar is a female-bodied creature living in Australia's answer to Texas, Florida, and California all rolled into one. (PS: She actually likes living there.)
