Makura no Soshi, known to the Western world as
The Pillow Book, a collection of her thoughts and observations of the goings-on of life surrounding the Imperial Palace in Heian-era Japan. If you are a fan of this intriguing lady and her works, please do join!
This site strives to be more than your average fanlisting (ie, break free of the who-codes-join-members format that positively
infects the fanlisting network as a whole) which is why it's divided into three sections:
information, where you can find a glut of facts about Shonagon,
fanlisting, where you can add your name to the list of admirers, and
links, a sizable portion of links relating to Heian Japan,
Makura no Soshi, and Lady Sei herself. To navigate the site, please use the graphical links of the same name in the header picture.
