Miss Witch Baby, who is properly called Lily Wigg-Bat (but the name didn't stick), lives in Shangri-L.A. with her almost-mother, Weetzie Bat, her father My Secret Agent Lover Man, almost-sister Cherokee Bat, Duck Drake, Dirk McDonald, and Slinkster Dog and the puppies. She takes photos of everything, cuts out newspaper clippings, plays the drums like a wild tiny rhythm goddess, and is in love with a Mexican boy like velvet, Angel Juan. Her hair is dark as night and in tanglesnarls, her eyes are glowy purple like jacaranda blossoms, and her toes curl into cashew-shapes. Witch Baby was created by the wonderful Francesca Lia Block (who has saved this little faerie's life on more than one occasion~)
